After reviewing Friday’s weather forecast, we’re excited to move forward as planned! Please have your student bring a sweatshirt in case it gets chilly. Athletic wear and Hawthorne spirit gear are highly encouraged. Updated Schedule (please note corrected times): 9:00–9:30 AM: Upper Grades (3–6) 9:30–10:00 AM: Lower Grades (TK–2) This adjustment gives our older students the opportunity to support, run alongside, or cheer on the younger students—helping build a fun and encouraging atmosphere for everyone! Additional headbands will be available for purchase at the event for $5 (cash or PayPal). We’re looking forward to a fun and spirited event—see you there!

First Hawthorne Hike of the Spring!

Let's welcome spring and spring break with a hike up our beloved South Hills! Please join us on Sunday, March 22nd, at 10:00 , as we hike and explore the South Hills. We will have a flower and plant scavenger hunt (the wildflowers should be beautiful) and, as always, a little snack at the top. This hike will be extra special, as every family who participates will be encouraged to submit a quick online form to Mountain Air. This wonderful community store will, in turn, donate 20 dollars per submission to PEAK (Promoting Extracurricular Activities for Kids). This amazing non-profit provides families with financial support and supplies, with the end in mind that ALL children will have the opportunity to participate in activities such as sports, music, art, drama and dance. So, it's a win-win! A community hike supporting the children of our community!
